Color Me Pretty Series

Every year fall brings lots of rain and days of gray. Even now, it has been raining heavily for the last few days. Anticipating all this bleak weather to come, I was working on a colorful series of garments -Color Me Pretty, for this fall/winter.

Please welcome my first garment, a Color Me Pretty Skirt. I had so much fun working on these designs, blending colors, creating patterns, and of course knitting it all up. I hope you will find your project as enjoyable.

My little girl loves skirts and dresses of all kinds, and is very attracted to bright fun colors.  She likes mixing and matching different color yarns I have laying about everywhere, and has been requesting a rainbow colored skirt made from the color combinations she picked.

I have used 8 different contrast colors to create a gradual rainbow effect. You can use more, if you wish! Here is another skirt with just 3 contrast colors for a more somber look.
